For the smooth functioning of the NPO we have created working groups. This is governed by the statutes.
The working group 'Earthship Europe' is the third working group set up in the NPO.
The original letter of appointment was written in English because of the international nature of the group and its participants and volunteers.
The working group Earthship Europe is established to give a platform to the European activities of Earthship Belgium and her sister organisations in development.
The work group activities are earthshipeurope.org in general and activities concerning European Earthship Builders United (EEBU), European Earthship Circle of Organisations (EECO), European Earthship Communities Network (EECN) and Earthshipedia in special.
For this the working group will have the availability of the web spaces earthshipeurope.org and earthshipedia.org and their respective subdomains. Decision making on further dealings on European level concerning earthshipeurope.org and earthshipedia.org will be made and financed by this working group.
Members of this group in general are no volunteers of Earthship Belgium but representatives from other earthship organisations in other countries compelling to the EECO standard and considered as sister organisations.
The scope of the working group include:
- To further establish and develop earthshipeurope.org and earthshipedia.org;
- To finance maintenance and developments by own income generated out of EEBU, EECO and EECN membership or other forms of 'European' income;
- To establish and further develop the European earthship cooperation;
- To distribute articles and digital publications in a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0) on earthshipeurope.org and subdomains;
- To distribute articles and digital publications in a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 ) on earthshipedia.org and subdomains;
- Organise their own volunteers for European earthship goals in general;
This working group is currently not seeking any volunteers.
