November 4th, 2011- Despite our growth troubles we try to continue current affairs as much as possible, albeit occasionally with some delay.
We have recently worked behind the scenes in translating our project ' Ecological cohabitation'. Willy has translated the project to English and Davy into French. The project is a concept proposal for a small-scale eco-village.

Not only Earthship Belgium is going to try to launch this project in Belgium, but also our sister organisation Earthship Sweden will do the same in Sweden. Next to this other future sister organisations will get the opportunity to launch this project in their own country. EECO will take care of the European coordination of the various national projects.

These translations, and in particular the French version, can still use some attention in proofreading and grammatical control. So if your interested you can sign up through 'Volunteer?'
Frank has also offered his many talents for deployment within Earthship Belgium. A first project he's going to run is a documentary around the construction of Earthresidence. Frank already begins Saturday with the first recordings in Kemzeke and some interviews with volunteers present. So, if you want to help build, sign up here.
At the European front another documentary on the building expedition last summer to Sweden is in the making. In collaboration with Earthship Sweden we will look at the raw material, further elaborate and add music. So there is still quite some work to be done.
In addition, there is a new sister organization in formation. Miguel from Barcelona has offered to set up Earthship Spain and is now busy with it. The Facebook group is already there, the website is developed and articles from English are being translated to Spanish. At the same time the Statutes of Association are being obtained. European cooperation has slowly but surely been set up and is growing.
A big thank you to all who are committed to us and our sister organizations.
