July 7, 2011 - During the last period a lot of work has been done behind the scenes. All this was as preparation for the expedition to Sweden, the European seminar and the development of an example model.
The development of the example model was started already a while ago. Because our chairman now has the software to create maps to scale, Dries our illustrator could really get started.
Floorplan Euro-model - Design: Willy Raets
The model developed is meant as a response to problems that occur in the European Earthships of M. Reynolds. It is also meant as a model by which technical information is explained in presentations, articles and manuals. Therefore a small model was chosen that still contains everything. The aim is to realize this model for further research and development.
The model is used in the manual under the chapter development "EEBU Basic 1: Preparations and tire wall construction '. The writing of this manual started at beginning of this year together within EEBU. The model has been named the 'Euro-model'.
Dries has worked hard to prepare a few things so they can be taken to the seminar in Göthenburg next Sunday. Dries, thank you very much for your wonderful work.
