July 26, 2010 - The last period there have been new applications for volunteers. They want to help us in several areas.
Therefore in recent weeks a number of acquaintances occurred.
First we spoke with Karina. She will support us in graphic design. Now she is busy designing a brochure for politics, media, environmental organizations, etc. Then she will work to design the publication "EarthShips in Belgium: Dream or reality?"
A second followed an interview with Elly. Elly will also help us with the graphics. She is working on the design of the Dutch translation of Vol III. In addition, Elly also offered to be involved as a photographer . Elly will accompany us to Sweden. We will make good use of this offer for our report on this. Elly will also be thinking along in a study to edible plants for gray water systems.
We had a third interview with Gregory. Gregory has offered to do translations from Dutch to French. He will soon begin to translate the basic info and most recenst articles of the website. Then we will see the French speaking part of the website launch, while Jeffrey is pursuing further work on the translation of the earlier articles.
Even before we launched our new website we started an investigation into the energy systems. Jeffrey offered to cooperate . Through all the work already done here, we could make a budget for the entire energy system in the project of Hoboken.
Unpaid work of volunteers makes actions possible that we otherwise could not pay. We want to warmly welcome these new volunteer and are very grateful for their support.
